The Studio d’Arte Lanza gallery was founded in 1980 in Corso Garibaldi in Verbania Intra, when Lanza Lorenzo, after opening the frame workshop, decided to embark on the path of the art trade by opening a small art gallery next to it.
In 1995 he decided to move the headquarters of his art studio to via Rigola 14 (current location), in order to have more space to devote to the exhibition of works of art.
The gallery was inaugurated with the exhibition of the painter Antonio Mignozzi and the Swiss sculptor Pedro Pedrazzini.
In the following years it hosted exhibitions of masters such as: Mario Tozzi, A.Z. Music, Antonio Calderara, Italo Valenti, Afro Basaldella, Max Bill, Bruno Cassinari.
